Adding or moving an employee as a member in the organisation chart

What?

By linking an employee as a member to the organisation chart, they are granted certain rights by means of rules. In addition, members from the same group are automatically displayed on the team calendar.

Moving an employee in the organisation chart can be done by adding the employee to another group. The membership in the previous group is automatically terminated. After all, an employee can only be a member of one team.

How?

There are 2 methods:

METHOD 1: via the Configuration page

  1. Open the Configuration page from the main menu at the top.
  2. Open the organisation chart using the option in the Organisation block.
  3. Click on the group you want to add the employee to.
  4. Click on 'Add a member'.
  5. Indicate the correct employee(s).
  6. Adjust the start date.
  7. Click on ‘Add’.

METHOD 2: via the People page (group action: useful for several people at the same time)

  1. Open the People page from the main menu at the top.
  2. Tick the employee(s).
  3. Click on 'Group actions'.
  4. Click on 'NEXT' under 'Add to group'.
  5. Indicate the group you want to add the employees to.
  6. Adjust the start date.
  7. Click on 'OK'.

  5. Indicate the correct employee(s). It is possible to click on more persons. Via the search bar, you can find employees more quickly.

  6. Adjust the start date. If necessary, an end date can be entered.

  7. Click on ‘Add’.

  1. Open the People page from the main menu at the top.
